John Ferguson Interiors is a New York–based design studio known for its thoughtful approach and quietly distinctive spaces. Founded by John Ferguson in 2017, the firm brings a deep appreciation for architecture, craftsmanship, and character to every project, often blending historical references with unexpected detail and a vibrant sense of personality.

Raised between London and New York, John studied at Eton College before moving to New York City to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology, graduating summa cum laude. After training at an AD100 firm, he established his own practice to create interiors that are personal, elegantly composed, and deeply attuned to the lives of his clients.

The studio specializes in high-end residential design, with work spanning the U.S. and abroad. Known for a layered, expressive use of color and a refined mix of periods and styles, each project reflects a balance of timelessness and individuality. John’s work has been featured in Cottages & Gardens, Vogue, Country Living, and international editions of leading design publications.

Based in Bernardsville, New Jersey, John lives with his wife and two young sons. A passionate traveler and scuba diver with a love of good tailoring, he brings a cultivated eye and a sense of curiosity to every project - believing that the best interiors are those that feel lived-in, personal, and entirely one of a kind.
