WEST END AVENUE, NEW YORK CITY

We were engaged by a young couple to reimagine their prewar Riverside apartment, creating a home that reflected their love of color, pattern, and playful detail. While most of the project was a thoughtful refresh that preserved the co-op’s original character, the kitchen underwent a full gut renovation, with deep blue cabinetry, brass accents, and checkered cork floors that strike a balance between practicality and nostalgia. Throughout the apartment, bold moments - like a red foyer ceiling and lively botanical prints - add a sense of whimsy and individuality. The result is a warm, personal home where vibrant design meets everyday life, perfectly capturing the spirit of its owners and their new beginning in New York City.
